Know the difference between live viewing and local recording before choosing.
Compatible PoE cameras connect through a network and can be viewed on a supported smartphone or device when internet access and the correct configuration are available. A Live View package does not include central NVR recording.
Cameras connect directly to a compatible PoE NVR, which powers the cameras and saves footage to an installed hard drive. Recording can continue without internet as long as the CCTV system remains powered. Remote viewing requires internet.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Travel is charged separately from our designated Pretoria operating base. R150 base call-out plus R5 per kilometre for the return trip.
Example: 20km one way = R350 travel.
The full travel charge is disclosed for approval before installation. Tolls and exceptional expenses are extra.
Supplied-equipment packages allow up to 20m CAT6 cable per camera and standard connectors and mounting. Longer cable runs, conduit, elevated work and difficult outdoor installations may require a separate quotation.
Remote viewing needs a working internet connection and compatible network equipment. Local NVR recording does not require internet but the system must remain powered. UPS backup can be quoted as an optional upgrade.
Prices are draft estimates subject to supplier confirmation and site assessment. Customer-supplied equipment retains its applicable supplier or manufacturer warranty. BlackPaw is responsible for its workmanship. VAT excluded if applicable.
